Westhaven Homeowner Fees for 2010
The quarterly amount for 2010 is $246.00. According to the by-laws of the community, the Board has the right to increase the dues a maximum of 5% per year without the approval of two-thirds of the community. Any amount over 5%, or the need for a special assessment, must be presented to the community for approval. If additional funds were needed, the homeowners would be informed of the projects that require completion within a certain time frame, and the dollar amount required for the work to be performed.
A Westhaven Homeowners Association coupon book is mailed to homeowners each fall, in time to make the January payment. (Note that the P.O. Box number in the mailing address has changed for 2010.)
The fees are due and payable on the first day of each quarter: January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1, 2008. If you wish, you can pay your full assessment in advance. The amount is $984.00, and many residents do pay in advance.
If fees are not received by the fifteenth day of the month in which they become due, a $30.00 late fee will be added to your account. There is also a $25.00 fee if the bank returns your check.
If you are enrolled in Westhaven's direct debit program, the adjustment will be made automatically. If you pay your assessments electronically, please change your bank's automatic bill payment amount. If you wish to begin paying your assessments electronically, please contact the account representative at (703) 565-5027 or via email at c.powell@cmgmt.com for more information.
You will not receive reminders, notices of payment due, or statements. You are responsible for remembering to send your fees in on time.
Please direct questions about the fees and coupon books to Cardinal Management Group, Inc.
